Life Teen
The 9th & 10th grade Life Teen program is a dynamic and engaging program to help teens grow in relationship with Jesus as they also learn their Catholic faith. It provides small groups for teens to ask questions, find answers and begin to discover how to put their faith in action. Our core team of small group leaders helps provide opportunities for the teens to encounter Christ in the sacraments and walk the journey of faith with the teens.

Our Core Team are the volunteer adult leaders that help make Life Teen possible by helping to lead our teens closer to Christ. A passionate youth minister is wonderful, but one person cannot minister to an entire group of teens. That is why Core Members who choose to respond to their baptismal call by serving young people are vital for youth ministry. Teens do not connect to programs; they connect to people. The most effective way to influence teens is through relationships which is why our Core team members are so important to the success of our ministry. Core team members help with Life Teen, lead small groups during Life Teen and walk with teens on their journey to Christ.
The commitment to being on the Core Team can be somewhat up to the Core team member. At a minimum, they need to put one hour in prep and prayer and be available from 10am-12pm every other Sunday. We meet in the JP2 café.

retreat core Team

Retreat Core Team members help with high school retreats as well as Confirmation retreats
throughout the year. You can be a Retreat Core team member without being on Core Team for Life Teen or Confirmation.
